Coming into a home game against TSA, the Rochester boys had high hopes for this game, having played extremely well against Blue Mountain the previous week. Although the Rockets were outmatched they were able to hold their own and keep the score close until the end when Sharon pulled away by two. The final score was 4-2, Sharon. Rochester goals came from Enrique Murray and Doug Kingsbury. Even though this was a tough loss for Rochester, the Rockets showed signs of becoming the team they’ve hoped to be all season. Win Over Poultney Saturday was a very physical game as the Poultney Blue Devils hosted the Rochester Rockets. With playoffs right around the corner, Rochester needed to play hard to keep up their record in order to get a higher seed in the State Tournament. The Rockets came on strong and Tanner Haskins scored a goal in the middle of the first half to give Rochester a 1-0 lead. But as the second half began, John Colton had to leave the game due to a red card. The game escalated to an even more physical level as time went on. The Rockets went down one man, but Ethan White led the team and they were able to come away with the win. White scored the go ahead goal and the final score was 2-1 Rockets. ____________ |
