The Chelsea girls’ soccer team earned a 6-1 victory against Rivendell last week. Chelsea came out firing with goals from Michelle Upham, Hillary Bonasera, Courtney Sanford, and a hat trick by senior Kim Upham.

Chelea’s offense was just too much for Rivendell givng Chelsea another victory.

Tough Loss

The Chelsea girls’ soccer team dropped a nail biter to Thetford last week, losing 1-0. Both teams fought hard and their defenses were unbreakable.

However, midway through the second half Hazel Wood scored to break the tie, giving Thetford the lead. Chelsea was unable to penetrate Thetford’s defense to score one of their own.

The Chelsea girls also lost a tough match against Whitcomb last week. Chelsea scored first giving them a 1-0 lead. Just a few minutes late, however, the Hornets tied the game up.

The Hornets scored three consecutive unanswered goals, to take the win. One goal was off a penalty kick from Molly Taylor, the other an own goal from a Chelsea defender. Whitcomb played hard hoping for victory, and successfully awarding their seniors with a 3-1 victory on senior night.
