Forests Healthier

Students form the Randolph Technical Career Center have forged a partnership with the town’s Forestry Committee that uses and teaches skills and will result in healthier forests.

Randolph is luck enough to have four sections of town forest, and all of them need various kinds of maintenance.

Last Tuesday, for instance, in the forest parcel near the north reservoir, the Environmental Resource Management class worked with instructor Gerry Reymore and Forestry Committee Chair Stephen Springer to clear debris and remove invasive species from the property, which is available for public enjoyment.
