Chelsea Girls Prevail
With 3 Wins
Joseph Bonasera

The Chelsea girls’ soccer team came ready for revenge after losing 2-1 to Blue Mountain in double overtime last time. Chelsea earned their win this time, 1-0. Both teams fought for the ball the entire game and their goal keeping and defense’s prevented anyone from scoring.

With about a minute to go in the game Harmony Spencer scored off a corner kick from her sister Althea, giving the Lady Devils another victory.

1-0 Win

The Chelsea Red Devils came away with another 1-0 victory, this time against Sharon Academy. Both teams played hard with their defenses shutting down whatever the other team brought.

It wasn’t until a few minutes left in the second half, that Robyn Kennedy took a left-footed shot from just outside the 18 and scored. Chelsea maintained possession and came away with a -earned 1-0 win.

Big Victory

The Chelsea Lady Devils cruised to a 4-0 win over Concord last weekend. Chelsea controlled the ball for most of the game, giving the Devils a convincing victory.

Concord, however, had a few runs up the field, but was quickly denied by Chelsea’s demanding defense. The four goals were scored by Spencer, Kim Upham Kennedy, and Michelle Upham.
