Time for Outrage
Over the War

The recent reports that the United States is the "leading supplier of weapons to the developing world" (NY Times, Oct. 1) and of the outrage of the Iraqi government regarding the killing of Iraqi civilians by the military contractor Black Water should make everyone skeptical about the pious statements made by the Administration regarding our country's desire to promote peace and democracy around the world.

It's time we faced reality and took a stand against this hypocrisy. Join the New England part of the National Mobilization on Oct. 27 in Boston.
