Gal Ghosts
Lose At Stowe

The Randolph Gal Ghosts traveled to Stowe on Wednesday and came off the field with a 2-1 loss.

The first half was poorly played on the Ghosts’ part. They were not aggressive and weren’t going to the ball. With 24 minutes left in the half, K. King of Stowe placed the ball into the net.

The second half was much better for Randolph. The Ghosts came out strong, dominating the first five minutes and winning the 50-50 balls Unfortunately, early in the half King scored again. Randolph didn’t get down, and came back.

With 14 minutes left in the game, Heather Mugford scored assisted by Emily Beaudin. About five minutes later, the Ghosts almost tied it up with a great header by Amanda Gerstenmaier. Stowe’s goalie, Z. Zvarova, made a great save. Arielle Connolly had 10 saves in the first half and Erica Webber had 9 saves in the second, for Randolph
