Chelsea Defeats Bethel, 3-0

The Chelsea boys’ soccer team came away with a 3-0 win against Whitcomb on September 20.

Chelsea scored off a feed from junior Andrew Richardson to Jim Welch in the first five minutes of the game. A few minutes later, Andrew Richardson recorded a goal just outside the 18, and the score remained 2-0 for the rest of the half. The Hornets gave Chelsea a scare with a close shot in the last few minutes.

It wasn’t until 10 minutes into the second half that Richardson added another goal to the scoreboard to increase the Devils’ lead by three. The score remained that way with Chelsea maintaining possession throughout the game. Chelsea (3-3) travels to Twinfield on Tuesday.
