GRANVILLE—Patricia A. Brown, 67, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007 at her home. She was born March 17, 1940 in Tinmouth, the daughter of Harold and Margaret (Traverse) Gilman. She attended Sherburne and Poultney schools and later earned her GED. She married Dean McIntyre in 1956. They later divorced. She married Norman Brown in 1961 and they were later divorced. She worked at Weyerhaeuser in Hancock, until retiring in 2000. She had also worked at Sugarbush Ski Area in Warren for many years. She was active with the Granville P.T.A. and was very involved with many of the Granville school activities. She enjoyed crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, feeding the birds, country music and watching baseball. Survivors include a son, John Brown of Granville; three daughters, Brenda Sabin of Warren, Barbara Needham of Granville and Julie Brown of Rochester; a sister, Anna Hueblein of Rutland; and 16 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Marty Brown; a daughter, Carol Ann Brown; five brothers and two sisters. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery in Granville, with Pastor Thomas Harty officiating. There are no calling hours.
