News of Area Students

Hannah Gephart, daughter of Jeff and Marty Gephart of Rochester, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. She is a 2003 graduate of Rochester High School.

James Kimball, a 2001 graduate of Rochester High School, received his Master of Arts degree in Eastern Classics from St. John's College in Sante Fe, N.M. He earned his undergraduate degree at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland in 2005.

This September, he'll begin a three-year research Ph.D. program at the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies.

Rachel A. DiStefano, daughter of Mark DiStefano of and Maryann Zavez, both of Randolph Center, will be a freshman at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine this fall. She is a 2007 graduate of Randolph Union High School.

Wesley R. Farnsworth, son of David and Catherine Farnsworth of South Royalton, will be a freshman at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine this fall. He is a 2007 graduate of South Royalton High School.
