Sworn In

With his wife Jean at his side, Maurice "Moe" Brown was sworn into office as an Orange County assistant judge at the county courthouse earlier this week.

He has retired to Chelsea after a career running several businesses in the Burlington area; he also once served on the Vermont Racing Commission.

He replaces Joseph Anthony, who died of a heart attack in July. (Provided / Sheriff Bill Bohnyak)
