Co-op Building
Would Be Great

Contrary to assertions, the White River Co-op Condo (WRCC) appears to be an excellent idea both from cost, function and location, even adding windows and other improvements such as entry, façade, etc. Efficiency Vermont would welcome improved energy needs for the WRCC = additional grant for retrofit energy savings.

WRCC might just be a most perspicacious idea, an excellent buy, low-cost acquisition, easily adapted to town needs.

Submit a bid! The town might be low and only. What a deal, and the bank happy with whatever it can get. And the taxpayer, how many dollars saved?

The purchase and renovation savings would permit accessibility improvements at the existing municipal building.

As to the condominium agreement, the town can move to amend association rules to suit.

Parking should not be a problem, as there is significant parking nearby.

If, however, it is decided to build on the existing site, a much more appropriate design—both aesthetically and functionally less costly should be given great consideration, particularly to its siting.
