Josh Pursues New Goal:
Being a Fashion Journalist

Josh Turk, who recently played the role of Jeff Douglas in the Chandler Youth production of "Brigadoon," is living in New York City for the summer—and exciting things are happening.

Two years ago, Josh appeared on the MTV program, "Made," which chronicled his efforts to get in shape and make it onto the Whitcomb soccer team.

This summer, he was invited to travel to NYC to participate in a reunion of "Made." This reunion show is called "Super-Made," and the stakes, he says, are higher.

Josh's goal this time around is to become a fashion journalist.

He is training with a top stylist, Nole Marin, who works with Tyra Banks and has appeared on "America's Next Top Model," and with New York Times style editor Karen Robinovitz.

"The process thus far has been quite fun," writes Josh. "I'm learning a great deal. In addition to working with them on style, I am interning with a design duo named ‘Heatherett.’ The designers, Travis and Richie Rich, mix over the top couture looks with club kid.

"At the end of all my training, I will hopefully be prepared enough to work the mike at Olympus Fashion Week in the fall as MTV's fashion correspondent."
