Glen R. Waite GRANVILLE—Glen Ray Waite, 47, of Granville, died Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 1, 2007 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident which took place May 28 in Rochester. He was born August 6, 1959 in Middlebury, the son of Fred F. Waite, Sr. and Irene (Lambert) Waite. He was raised in Hancock and graduated from Rochester High School. He had lived in Durango, Colo. and Portland, Ore., returning to Hancock in 1996, then moving to Granville in 2005. He was a heavy equipment operator, and enjoyed playing poker with the guys and taking his nieces and nephews hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Rochester and the National Rifle Association. Survivors include his mother, Irene Lambert and her husband, Henry, of Granville; a daughter, Wendy Fuller of Ireland; brothers, Cecil Waite of Rochester, Fred Waite Jr., of Hancock, Gary Waite and his wife, Betty, of Hancock and Gordon Waite and his wife Charlene of Granville; sisters, Cindy Leno and her husband, James, of Hancock and Gale Lambert and her husband, Larry, of Dunlap, Tenn.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Friday, Aug. 10 at 2 p.m. at the North Hollow Cemetery on Maston Hill Road in Granville, with Pastor Thomas Harty officiating. There are no calling hours.
