Car Stolen
In Village

Randolph police reported this week that a car owned by Teal Meiling was stolen Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

Meiling said the car was gone when she left her family’s South Pleasant Street residence on Sunday morning. Meiling had been visiting family in Randolph and was set to head home to Colorado.

Meiling is waiting to see whether the car, along with belongings inside, will turn up.

"I have to get back to work," she said. "It’s just not something you expect to happen, especially around here."

Meiling said the car is a red ’96 Subaru Legacy with no bumper stickers or marks except a small crack on the lower part of the windshield.

Anyone with any information is asked to call RPD at 728-3737.
