SHARON—Everett "Tink" Nutting, Jr., 81, died Monday, July 30, 2007, at the home of his partner, Lois Moore, in Sharon. He was born April 26, 1926, in Strafford, the son of Everett D. and Rose B (Dyer) Nutting. He attended school in Strafford. In his early years, he worked at Dewey’s Woolen Mill in Hartford and for the town road crews of Strafford and Sharon. He married Annie M. Ferris and together they lived on and ran a dairy farm in Strafford. They were divorced in 1971. He continued to run the farm until 1990. For over 45 years, he drove a bus and ran the bus company for the Sharon School district, before retiring in 2003. For over 20 years, he ran an auto garage and inspection station at his home. For the last four years, he has lived with his friend, Lois Moore, of Sharon. He enjoyed deer hunting, classic country music, watching old westerns, feeding and watching the birds, dogs, dirt track racing (when he was younger), watching wildlife, and spending time with his grandchildren and any young kids. He liked fixing almost anything for people. He is survived by Lois Moore of Sharon; a son, Robert D. Nutting and his wife Rae of Strafford; two grandchildren, Dillon Nutting of Sharon and Lacey DiFrancesco of Salem, Mass.; an aunt and many cousins. Service arrangements are pending. Burial will be in the Robinson Cemetery in Strafford.
