     The Randolph Babe Ruth baseball team, consisting of 13 to 15-year-olds, wrapped up their season in Waterbury Saturday. Randolph lost to Harwood 10-7 in the end of the season tournament. Randolph switched to the Barre league this year.

     The Central Vt. Little League baseball team won back-to-back games to put themselves in the final game before States. Central Vt. defeated Mid-Vt. 10-5 last Thursday and then put Randolph out of the tourney 6-2 on Friday.

Returns to Montpelier Field
     Hall of Fame pitcher Robin Roberts will return to his amateur roots on Friday, July 31 to mark the 60th anniversary of winning the Northern League title as the ace of the Twin City Trojans.
