BARRE—Kay F. Curtis, 62, died Friday evening, June 29, 2007 at her home in Barre. She was born August 28, 1944 in Randolph; the daughter of Wayne and Charlotte (Walbridge) Claflin. She attended Randolph schools and graduated from Randolph High School in 1962. She attended a college in Boston, Mass. for two years. After college she returned to Vermont and worked in the medical records department at Central Vermont Hospital in Berlin for over 30 years. More recently, she had worked as the office manager for Dr. Mason in Berlin. She married Russell Curtis November 15, 2002 in Barre. She enjoyed flowers and reading. Survivors include her husband, Russell Curtis of Barre; and a nephew, Christopher Shook of New York City. She was predeceased by her sister, Rae Shook. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 5 at 2 p.m. at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph with Pastor Thomas Harty officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Bethel. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day Funeral Home of Randolph. ____________ |
