On Vacation!

The Herald office will be closed for vacation the week of July 16-20, but never fear! The Herald staff will be doing double duty the week before to make sure that readers still have a new issue on the newsstand or in their mailbox Thursday, July 19. The office will be open for partial hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-noonish during vacation week.

This "Vacation Edition" issue will be full of great feature stories that we don’t always have room for in our regular issues. A number of talented freelance writers, along with members of our regular writing staff, and the Herald photography staff are already busy putting together some great reading and photos you won’t want to miss.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to be included in the July 19 issue, news items and advertising must be at the Herald office no later than the morning of Thursday, July 12 .
