Peter Bedford Cooch, a 2003 graduate of Randolph Union High School and the son of Tom and Sandy Vondrasek Cooch of Braintree, graduated cum laude June 9 from Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. with a bachelor’s degree in government.

Robert Allen Lewis of Rochester was named to the Commendable Scholar list for the spring 2007 semester at Mitchell College in New London, Conn.

Megan E. From, daughter of Tina From of Randolph Center, was awarded a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English Literature, magna cum laude, from Saint Michael's College in Colchester during ceremonies held May 17.

Sarah Braley, a 2006 graduate of South Royalton High School and the daughter of Bernard and Penny Braley of South Royalton, was named to the President’s List for the spring term at Vt. Technical College in Randolph Center. Majoring in business education, she will be a senior at VTC in the fall.

Trevor Ferris of South Royalton was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y., where he is a sophomore majoring in sports management.

Tara E. Lowell of South Royalton graduated magna cum laude May 20 from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience. Lowell, who minored in mathematics and chemistry, also earned departmental honors in neuroscience.

Caitlin E. Jacobs, daughter of Janni Jacobs and Bruce Jacobs, graduated summa cum laude May 20 from Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She also received departmental honors in biology and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Xi honor societies.

Jessica Ware, daughter of Sherri Ware of Tunbridge, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Charleston Southern University in Charleston, S.C., where she is a junior majoring in psychology.

Laura Holt, daughter of Debra and George (Sonny) Holt of Randolph, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. A 2006 graduate of RUHS, she will be a sophomore at Hamilton this fall.

Andrea Garner, daughter of Randy and Pauline Garner of Randolph graduated cum laude from Southern Vermont College in Bennington and received an Associate in Science degree in Nursing. A graduate of Randolph Union High School, she was also named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester.

Jedediah Putney, son of Scott and Nelda Putney of Bethel, graduated cum laude from Bentley College in Waltham, Mass. May 19 with a bachelor’s degree in managerial economics, with concentration in quantitative analysis. A 2003 graduate of the Sharon Academy, he plans to live in the Boston area and pursue a career with the Sovereign Bank.

St. Michael’s College
