Mason Estabrook

BRAINTREE—Mason C. Estabrook, 48, died Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Dartmouth Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.

He was born March 20, 1959, in Randolph, the son of Robert and Mary (Laffan) Estabrook.

He attended school in Randolph, Hartford and Johnson, graduating from Lamoille High School in Johnson in 1977.

Following his education, he worked at the Waterbury Cos. in Randolph for several years, and later worked at New England Precision in Randolph as a tool and die maker for several years.

He married Deborah Curtis May 28, 1983 in Hancock. He loved camping with his family, hunting, fishing, woodworking and writing editorials to The Herald newspaper in Randolph. He also enjoyed volunteering as a cashier at the Gifford Medical Center cafeteria.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Estabrook of Braintree; three sons: Westley and his wife, Channia Estabrook, of Braintree; Thomas Estabrook of Norfolk, Va., and Kirby Estabrook of Mt. Home, Idaho; a brother, Paul Estabrook of Burlington; three sisters: Kelly Estabrook of Yarmouth, Mass.; Cindy Kent of Brewster, Mass.; and Jennifer Hurd of Virginia; a grandson, Chason Estabrook; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Michael Estabrook.

Graveside memorial services were held Tuesday, June 12 at the East Braintree Cemetery. Rev. Ronald E. Rilling officiated.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Day Funeral Home of Randolph.
