Matthew Cook of Randolph earned a bachelor's degree in professional studies- business. Mistie Russell of Randolph Center earned a bachelor's degree in accounting. Russell is the daughter of Victor and Lucille Boule of Randolph Center. Champlain College's 129th commencement was May 5. Erin Salls of Randolph, who just completed her junior year at Champlain, has been on the Dean's List for six consecutive semesters, each time with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Salls, the daughter of Pam and Mike Salls of Randolph, is a multi-media graphic design major. Boston University Thackery Ian Brown, son of Gianine Lupo, Brookfield, and Steve Brown of Montpelier, graduated summa cum laude from Boston University May 20. Thackery lives and works in Boston. He has been accepted into Boston University's graduate program and plans a career in neurological research. Hesser College John W. Breault, son of Dennis and Patricia Breault of Randolph, has graduated magna cum laude from Hesser College in Manchester, N.H. He completed the criminal justice/law enforcement program. Breault also completed a four-month "externship" with the Auburn, N.H., Police Department. St. Lawrence Awards St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. this week announced that senior Tara E. Lowell, of South Royalton, was recently presented the Beta Beta Beta outstanding senior biology majors award and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Lowell, who graduated from Hartford High School, is majoring in neuroscience, with minors in mathematics and chemistry. St. Lawrence freshman Iris R. Dougherty of Pittsfield was presented with the "First Year Cup Trophy" at the university's "Moving Up Day" ceremonies. Dougherty graduated from Woodstock Union High School. ____________ | |||||
