W.B. Cemetery
Not Kept Up

On Memorial Day, I went to the West Brookfield cemetery to pay my respects to my dad and my brother, who did a tour in Viet Nam.

I couldn’t believe the condition that the cemetery was in. It wasn’t mowed and hasn’t been in some time. The grass is above the stones and there are no new flags like the other cemeteries. The flags that are there are old, some of them torn and laid on the ground.

Grass and mold are on the stones from the past. Lawnmower marks were cut into the edges of stones.

Memorial Day is the day we pay tribute to and honor our veterans as well as our loved ones. West Brookfield sure did not do our Veterans proud this year. What a shame!
