Explains Why
Ponds Destroyed

Years ago we had three small frog ponds dug in a small area next to our house in Bethel Lympus. The cost was $800.

Over time these little frog ponds became a home for hundreds of little creatures such as frogs, fish, salamanders, blue herons, mother ducks and their babies, and one small turtle.

It was also a great water supply for fiighting fire, but because a lister working for the town of Bethel came and put a value of $4900 on them, we can no longer afford to provide a home for these little creatures.

Their home will be returned to a field again this week. Sorry.
