News of Area Students

Ben Crosby, son of David and Sarah Crosby of Randolph, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2006 semester at Hartwick College in Oneonta, N.Y. A 2005 graduate of RUHS, he is a history major.

Calvin Smith, son of Lawrence and Andrea Smith of Brookfield, was named to the Dean’s List at Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications.

Molly Jackson of Chelsea was named to the Dean’s Honor List for the fall semester at Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, N.H., where she is a Mass Communication major.

Keith Minsinger of Randolph Center, was named to the Dean’s Honor List for the fall semester at Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, N.H., where he is a history major.

Michael Labejsza, son of Zygmunt and Jolanta Labejsza of Rochester, was chosen for membership in the Delta Chi chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society. He is a student at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn.

Anthony D. Schmitt, son of Thomas and Paula Schmitt of Chelsea, was named to the Dean’s List at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. A biology major, he is scheduled to receive his bachelor’s degree in 2009, and plans to go on to medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon.

Lindsey Partridge, daughter of Dennis and Sharon Partridge of Braintree, is graduating from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biology. She will attend the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Mass. to pursue a doctorate degree in physical therapy.

Alexander Cesari and Henry Cesari of Chelsea were named to the academic honor roll for the winter term at Northfield Mount Hermon School in Gill, Mass., where they are students in grades 10 and 11 respectively.

Kate Soules, daughter of Keith and Judy Soules of Randolph, earned a perfect 4.0 GPA for the third quarter at Canyoneville Christian Academy in Canyonville, Ore, where she is a senior. She plans to attend Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio in the fall.

Norwich University

The following area students were named to the Dean’s List for the first semester at Norwich University in Northfield: Amanda Carpenter of Bethel, Star Stoddard of Braintree, Kimberly Kidder of Brookfield, Anthony Parker of Chelsea, Joshua Collins of Randolph, and James Allen of Rochester.
