132 Graduate From Electrical,
Plumbing Program at VTC

A graduation and awards ceremony held April 7 at Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center, celebrated the achievements of 132 graduates of the four-year Electrical and Plumbing Apprenticeship Program.

The college manages the apprenticeship-related instruction classes under contract with the Vermont Department of Labor. As graduates, many of the students will be eligible to take the Journeyman’s Licensing Exam. The graduates attended classes at technical centers located in Barre, Bradford, Hartford, Rutland, Springfield, and at Vermont Tech’s Williston campus. The graduation also included graduates from the new Tramway Maintenance Apprenticeship Program located in Stowe, Sugarbush and Stratton.

Among the graduates were a number from the Herald’s coverage area, including Dale R. Porter of Barnard, Robert Bowen Sr. of Bethel, Eric Thomas LaValley of Northfield, Daryl Gebo of Pittsfield, Jeremy Carlisle of Randolph Center, and Lantz R. Cook, Nathan Rood, Michael J. Ware and Gary Wight Jr. of Tunbridge.
