Randall B. Trask

BETHEL—Randall B. Trask, 59, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at his home in Bethel.

He was born May 17, 1947 in Boston, Mass., the son of Glenn and Corolyn (Clark) Trask.

He attended Bethel schools and graduated from Whitcomb High School in 1966. He married Pamela Stone July 16, 1966 in Williamstown. She died this past January.

Following high school, he graduated from Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center, with a degree in electrical engineering. After college, he went to work at IBM in Essex Junction, then he worked at G.W. Plastics in Bethel. He later worked for various construction companies before starting his own contracting business.

He was a pilot and had built his own aircraft. He also enjoyed collecting antique cars.

Survivors include his daughter, Sheila Trask and her husband, Ian Brown, of Bethel; his mother, Corolyn Trask of Randolph; a brother, Geoffrey "Drufus" Trask of Bethel; a sister, Brenda Fleming of Hyde Park; a daughter-in-law, Rita Trask of Bethel; five grandchildren: Matthew Washburn of Burlington, Tristan Brown of Bethel, Daniel Lamont of Randolph, Alex Lamont of Walden and Kyle Gendron-Gigure of Bethel; three great-grandchildren Chantal Drury, Troy Lamont and Dylan Lamont, all of Randolph; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father and his son, Michael Trask.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Church of Bethel, PO Box 28, Bethel, Vt. 05032.
