Maple Syrup
And Computers

The March 29 Herald had quite an article about making maple syrup. It brings back so many precious memories of when my Dad made maple syrup. Hard work, indeed it was, because we didn’t have an evaporator.

VA Not Ready
For Iraq Vets

While we’re awash in banners, magnets and signs saying "support our troops" we, the general public, don’t seem to be doing a lot about it. I don’t know about you but I don’t get up every day and think about a sacrifice I can make or an action I can take that will bring our troops home and ...

Their Leadership

The Teen Leadership Conference last week was a great success. Studies have shown that the peer pressure is one of the largest influences in a young person’s life and the group of RUHS peer leaders who helped at the conference have taken that concept and turned it into a positive cycle that will bene...

Co-op’s Demise
A Great Loss

The Randolph Co-op has reached its final days.
Upon receiving a text message about the closing, my initial reaction was denial. Despite the financial troubles the Co-op was experiencing, I believed it would pull through, as it usually did, and execute its fresh business plan that would hopefully benefit the people of the community and the Co-op ...
