As a resident living on Fairview Street in Randolph, I take pride in my neighborhood and the appearance of my home. Part of maintaining an attractive neighborhood is cleaning up after my dog while going for a walk. Dutifully I carry my scooper and bag to ensure that my neighbors will not be subject to unwanted smells and waste. This is particularly important because Fairview Street borders on the cemetery where daily visitors come to honor their friends and relatives. Unfortunately, not everyone who walks their dog on Fairview Street has the same dedication to "scooping" that I do. It is a challenge to keep both my dog and my feet clean after a trip down our street. We have a "pooper-scooper" law in town, and everyone needs to follow the law. A clean street will enhance the neighborhood and allow visitors to respectfully visit a grave site. Please clean up after your pet! William Lynch Randolph ____________ |
