Tough Competition

At New Englands

The Randolph wrestlers and some of their fans traveled to New Haven, Conn. this past weekend for the annual New England competition. Wrestling began at 5:00 Friday evening.

Senior Wes Simpson had a first round match, but was defeated. Seniors Ben Adams and Seth Dezan each had a bye. They were both defeated in their first match as well.

Because of the rules of the tournament, Dezan and Adams were both allowed to enter back into competition the next morning even though they lost the first round. Unfortunately, both boys were defeated in their first match on Saturday morning.

The three seniors had a good time, and are glad to have finished the year qualifying for the New Englands.
