William Rogers

LONDONDERRY—William "Bill" Rogers, 93, died February 13, 2007 at Springfield Health and Rehabilitation. Born in Royalton, November 6, 1913 the son of Robert T. and Bussie (Smith) Rogers, he married Phyllis Wilson in 1934. They celebrated their 72^nd anniversary this past June 20.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Lois, and her husband, Jerry Foster of Weston; his son, Michael of Naples, Fla.; his brother, Duane and wife, Florence, of Randolph Center; his three sisters: Rita Avery of Brattleboro, Rose and husband, Paul Willey of Rutland, and Lucille Howard of Ohio; his sisters-in-law, Della Rogers of Randolph and Freda Rogers of Florida; his granddaughter, Joni and husband, Jon Robison, of Withersfield, and their children, Isacc and Triston; his grandson, Scott, and wife, Lori, of Concord, N.H. and their children, Alex and Brant.

He was predeceased by eight brothers: Harold, Robert, Woodrow, Donald, Richmond, Clifford, Lawrence, and Chester; and three sisters: Gladys, Nina and Betty.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Londonderry. Burial will be in Randolph in the spring.
