Gardner P. Flint RANDOLPH CENTER - Gardner Perkins Flint, 56, of Randolph, died Thursday afternoon, Feb. 15, 2007 at Rowan Court Health Care in Barre. He was born on July 17, 1950 in Randolph, son of Grant and Lucy (Wakefield) Flint. He was a lifetime resident of Randolph and had lived at Joslyn House and Rowan Court Health Care for many years. In earlier years, he was active in 4-H. He had worked for Waterbury Plastics and Shop-N-Save Market. He loved people and enjoyed bee-keeping. He served a s chaplain of the Randolph Jaycees, and was a member of the Green Mountain Gospel Chapel. Survivors include his brothers, Avery Grant Flint of Randolph, and Fred Allen Flint of Braintree; sisters; Helen Lucy Luther of Wichita, Kansas, Addie Lella Lamb of Randoph, and Rose Carrie Derrick of Shinglehouse, Penna.; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held Sunday, Feb. 18 at Green Mountain Gospel Chapel, with Chaplain Dave Pagani, officiating. Phyllis Hawley was the organist, and Larry Warren played the trumpet. Chaplain Pagani shared prayer and scripture, and a letter from Pastor Ron Rilling was read by Dick Young. The congregation sang "Jesus Loves Me," "Amazing Grace" and "I Love To Tell the Story." Remembrances were shared by Chaplain Pagani, Tom and Helen Luther, Tom Derick, Arlene Wright, Fred Flint, Sara Flint, and several friends and relatives. "I Can Only Imagine" was sung by Sara Flint. "It is Well with My Soul" was played on the piano by Suzanne Naess. Chaplain Pagani closed with prayer. A reception followed in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be at a later date at the West Brookfield Cemetery.
