'Vermont Life' Puts Spotlight
On Music Scene Statewide

The Spring '07 issue of Vermont Life includes a guide to the state’s vibrant, eclectic music scene, from the talented folks who make music to the exceptional places to enjoy it.

Randolph's Chandler Music Hall is listed as one of the "16 Great Places to Hear Vermont Music."

I'ts "a hall that may have the best acoustics in the state," according to the brief description.

There are also articles on:

• The efforts of screenwriter John Fusco to preserve the nearly extinct Spanish Colonial Horse on 200 acres in Morristown.

• The family-owned Wayside Restaurant, which has been serving real Vermont food since 1918.

• The Billings Farm Plowing Match, a spring event that attracts teamsters from around New England.

There's more including: "BIG Trees of Vermont," beautiful spring scenic photos; Stowe’s Weekend of Hope; readers’ picks for the best of Vermont; and Burr Morse’s Flatchuck theory.

The newest edition opens with a farewell message from Tom Slayton, the magazine's editor-in-chief for nearly 22 years.
