Eleanor A. Jones

CROWN POINT, IND.—Eleanor A. (Howe) Jones, 86, died Jan. 31, 2007.

She was born May 29, 1920 in Tunbridge, daughter of Earl F. and Lura A. Howe.

She was predeceased by her husband, David B. Jones. They lived for many years in Springfield, then moved to the Chicago area, where they lived until their retirement. They spent winters in Arkansas for a long time after retirement.

Survivors include her five children: Ann Golden of Bristol, Wis.; Alice Clark of Fort Myers, Fla.; Betty Misicka of Streamwood, Ill.; Dave Jones of So. Elgin, Ill.; and Gary Jones of Crown Point, Ind.; four sisters: Freda Aldrich of White River Jct., Elizabeth (Tish) Spaulding of Wilder, Rebecca Martin of Williamstown, and Sylvia Howe of Newnan, Ga.; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Feb. 3 in Streamwood, Ill.
