News of Area Students

Sandy L. Gates, a graduate of Whitcomb High School and currently a sophomore at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., is studying in Kenya as part of that university’s international study program.

Gretchen Grote has been named to the Deans list at Southern New Hampshire University for the fall semester. The daughter of Peggy and Glenn Grote of South Royalton, she is a sophomore majoring in Sports Management.

Allyson Allen of Chelsea, a student at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Mass., has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2006 semester.

The following area students have qualified for induction into the most recent edition of the National Honor Roll publication: Megan Morse of Bethel, a student at Whitcomb High School; Evan G. O’Donahoe of Northfield, a student at Montpelier High School; and Annie White of Rochester, a student at Rutland High School.
