Filmmaker Jay Craven To Speak

At Chamber Annual Meeting 2/16

The Randolph Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2006 annual meeting and dinner on Friday, Feb. 16, at Vermont Technical College Morey Dining Hall.

The guest speaker will be Jay Craven, an arts activist and award-winning filmmaker whose credits include "Where the Rivers Flow North," "A Stranger in the Kingdom," "Disappearances," and the Windy Acres television comedy series.

He also teaches at Marlboro College and writes regular commentaries for Vermont Public Radio, The Burlington Free Press and the Caledonian Record.

The chmber will hold elections and feature presentation of the 2006 business executive of the year award. Cocktails are at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. The cost is discounted if reserved by Friday, Feb. 9 and tickets are also discounted for Chamber members, although the general public is cordially invited.
