•Contra dance with caller David Kaynor and the Owen and Elly String Band; 7-10 p.m., Chelsea Grange Hall, Rte. 110, Chelsea. Kids 16 and under admitted free. Refreshments to benefit the Grange will be on sale.

Saturday, Feb. 3

•Ballroom dance lessons taught by John Miller begin: swing, tango, cha-cha, waltz, etc., classes at 6 & 8 p.m., Tony’s Gym, Randolph. Info: 728-9332 or 728-2019.

Saturday, Feb. 10

•"Sensible Shoes" plays blues, r & b, and original music for a dance to benefit Riverfest, 8 p.m., Damon Hall, Hartland. Suggested donation at the door.
