Rochester Boys Lose Two

Last week the Rochester varsity boys lost on the road to Chelsea, 59-32. Rochester then hosted the Twinfield Trojans and lost at home. The game was tight all through the first quarter until the Trojans went on a run in the second.

Eventually, Rochester was able to pull within four points with time running out in the fourth quarter. The Rockets had to foul to stop the clock but Twinfield was able to convert from the line and once again pulled away.

The bright spot for the Rockets was their improved team play, with more passing and more assists. This is a good sign for Rochester as they begin a stretch of pretty important games. The Rockets are now 3-6.

The JV boys also had two losses this past week. They lost to Chelsea on the road and lost to Twinfield at home. In the game against Twinfield Liam McKinley led the Rockets with 20 points and 7 rebounds; Curtis added 14 points and 11 rebounds. The final score was 53-49, Twinfield.
