Chelsea Boys Now at 5-2

On January 10, the Chelsea boys downed Rochester in basketball action. The Red Devils came out strong with a good lead going into the half. Fast breaks and tough defense limited the Rochester Rockets to 32 points by the end of the game.

Everyone from the Chelsea bench had an opportunity to play. The final score was 59-32 in Chelsea’s favor. Zeb Allen was Chelsea’s high scorer with 16 points and Joe Bonasera chipped in 13.

Chelsea vs Cabot

Last Friday the Chelsea Red Devils hosted the Cabot Huskies. Cabot came out strong and held the lead as Chelsea searched for their rhythm.

Sean McCarthy came off the bench and fired things up as he drove to the basket and sparked the Chelsea offense. As Chelsea pulled ahead there was no turning back as they sent Cabot home with a 65-26 loss.

Everybody received playing time from the Chelsea bench. McCarthy was Chelsea’s high scorer with 13 points. Mike Ryan, Zeb Allen and Branden Emory each tallied eight points towards the win. Chelsea’s record improves to 5-2.
