Herbert Bisson

GRANVILLE–Herbert L. Bisson, 33, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007 in Granville, as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born June 28, 1973 in Couer D’Alene, Idaho, the son of Rodney and Letha (Gorman) Bisson.

He attended schools in Hancocka, Granville, Rochester and the state of Georgia. He had lived most of his life in the Hancock-Granville area and had dreamed of owning his own farm someday. He enjoyed hunting and fishing .

Survivors include his father, Bisson of Rochester; his mother, Letha Ahmed of Spruce Pine, N.C.; two brothers: Arthur "Joe" of Bradenton, Penna; and Paul Fitzgerald of Casselberry, Fla.; a sister, Isha Ahmed of Spruce Pine, N.C.; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Gorman of Florida, a niece and a nephew.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, at 12 noon at the Hancock Community Church with Rev. Wayne Holsman officiating. There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Day Funeral Home of Randolph.
