Shareheat Still
Needs Support

Many thanks to The Herald of Randolph for reporting the need for increased support of the CVPS Shareheat Fund.

Despite the relatively mild winter (until this week!), many of our neighbors still need assistance covering their costly fuel bills.

Donors to the Gay & Lesbian Fund of Vermont have made four donations to the CVPS Shareheat Fund in the past two months, and the Fund highlighted Shareheat and the WARMTH Support Program of the Southeastern Vermont Community Action Group in its quarterly In Focus feature on its website glfundvt.org. 

I hope readers of the Herald will join the Gay & Lesbian Fund of Vermont in providing much needed heating assistance to our neighbors in need.
