RUHS Ghost Gymnasts Win!

On Friday, Dec. 29, Randolph’s Gal Ghost gymnastics team hosted the Middlebury Tigers. In spite of having three gymnasts unable to compete in the meet, team members rallied and made routines to cover the openings on each event.

New routines included Kelsey Inzer, Melissa McIntyre and Stephanie Churchill on beam, as well as Kim Francis and Kayla Stevenson on floor and vault. Many veteran routines scored much higher as the gymnasts stepped up to perform new moves.

Sam McPhetres stuck her beam routine again and pulled in her highest all-around score. Brooke Sargeant and Lacy Dezan brought in their personal bests to add to the team totals.

It was the first gymnastics win in quite a while and was a nice pay-off to all the hard work.
