Nichols Graduates From Averett U.

Sheila Ann Nichols of Bethel was among the 391 students to receive their diplomas during Averett University’s Fall commencement December 9. Commencement was held at Averett’s E. Stuart James Grant Center. The daughter of Ann Nichols, Nichols graduated with a bachelor of science degree in biology: biomedical science and minor in sociology.

Averett President Richard A. Pfau awarded 179 master’s degrees, 187 bachelor’s degrees and 25 associate degrees to members of the December graduating class. Chartered in 1859, Averett is a coeducational, comprehensive university located in Danville, Va.
