The Rochester varsity boys got a tough win at home over Cabot with a score of 57-53. Though plagued by turnovers, the Rockets were able to pull off the win.

Brian Dunbar and Lucas Pellitier led the Rockets with 14 points apiece, Taylor Fuller added 13. Heldane Hanson led Cabot with 21.

Loss to West Rutland

The Rockets then went on the road to West Rutland. With star point guard Brian Dunbar in foul trouble early, Rochester had a tough time guarding Greg Hughes who poured in a career high 38 points. With Hughes’ ability to drive the lane and dish to his teammates, he was almost impossible to defend. The Golden Horde won by a score of 64 to 41.

Dustin Roberts led Rochester’s scorers with 17 points and 7 boards; Fuller added 10.

Rochester JV

The Rockets’ J.V. team dispatched the SoRo freshman for the second time this season. Liam McKinley led all scorers with a career high 19 points, Jace Curtis added 14. The two once again combined for more than half of their team’s points. Rochester got the win 44-36.
