Good Start for RUHS Gymnasts

The Randolph Ghosts began their gymnastics season at CVU on Dec. 13 with a fun meet where everyone tried out their new routines. Although CVU is tough to beat, the RUHS team showed many new skills and had lots of positive comments from the judges. Coach Felicia Dieffenbach feels, "Our routines are stepping up and it shows."

The Ghosts’ second event took them to South Burlington’s invitational where all of the Vermont teams were represented. Bridget Hardy placed in the Junior Division on bars, vault and all-around. Sam McPhetres placed for all-around as well. Sam McPhetres and Jenna Miller both stuck their beam routines. The girls finished the meet with a fun dance routine to the Beach Boys.
