BRAINTREE—Morgan E. Delaney, 89, died Dec. 7, 2006, at Hanover Hill Health Care, Manchester, N.H., after a period of failing health. Born in Randolph, March 5, 1917, he was the son of Truman and Ethel (Bennett) Delaney. He lived in Braintree for many years. During World War II, he served with the U.S. Navy. He was a self-employed home builder and designer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had an interest in antique automobiles and enjoyed playing the organ. He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Delaney. Surviving family members include two sons, Gary Delaney of Cross Lake, Maine, and Darryl Delaney of Manchester, N.H.; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one sister, Thelma Coleman of Mount Kisco, N.Y. Services will be held in June at the Vermont Veterans Cemetery in Randolph Center. ____________ |
