Co-Op Needs
Our Ideas

Like many small local businesses competing with big chains, the Randolph Cooperative Market has struggled to find its place in a changing marketplace. While its financial difficulties are sobering, I am more optimistic than ever that the Co-op can become the community centerpiece we all want it to be.

Why? Because the co-op has a new manager and council with a genuine desire to listen and act on the concerns and suggestions of co-op lovers and critics alike.

The co-op offers us so much the big stores can't. It allows me to provide my family with fresh high quality local foods while supporting our local family farmers and food manufacturers. You can buy everything from local produce, dairy and meats to fresh baked breads and dess

erts, salsa. pesto and more.

Planning a special dish with obscure ingredients? The co-op has what you need (often in serve-yourself containers so you don't have to buy more than you need) or will order it. Want a quick, delicious hot lunch? Try the sit-down cafe.

In order to broaden its appeal and make shopping more convenient for all shoppers, the co-op is also offering more conventional items too, especially staples such as paper goods.

The general manager has lots of ideas for improving the co-op and turning it into a warm and inviting community meeting place as well as a great store. But she needs to hear from you if the co-op is to continue as an important Randolph asset and thrive.
