The White River Valley Players will present "Christmas Cheer: An Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration," this Friday, Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. at the Federated Church in Rochester.

This event for the whole family will feature holiday music by the Brass Plus Quintet, led by Phyllis Kadlub; and readings of "The Gift of the Magi," "The Little Match Girl," and selections from "Little Women," performed by Ethan Bowen, Tara Race and Erica Blomquist.

There will also be lots of carol singing, fun and surprises, the return of "The Flakes," and refreshments provided by the Women’s Alliance. Donations at the door will be divided equally between the Community Food Shelf and the Pierce Hall Community Center.
