HANCOCK—Jessie Agnes Hall, 77, died early Friday morning, December 1, 2006 at her home.

She was born on December 17, 1928 in Hancock; the daughter of Henry White Sr., and Agnes Bingham White. She was a lifetime Hancock resident, and was married to William "Bill" Hall on June 18, 1960 in Rochester. She worked hard all of her life, and enjoyed dancing.

Survivors include her sons, Carl Hall of Rochester and Terry Hall of Milton; daughters, Sheila Strasuik of Milton, and Shellie LaPlante of Hancock; a brother, Henry White of Rutland; two sisters, Gertrude O’Neill of Florida and Beulah Cogley of Hancock; six grandsons, two grand-daughters, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.

Memorial services were held Monday afternoon, December 4 at the Rochester Federated Church, with Rev. Gregory Homan officiating. Phyllis Hawley was the organist. Rev. Homan shared the invocation, scripture and the eulogy, and read from a favorite song of Jessie’s, "Concrete Angel."

There was a time of remembrance when friends and relatives shared memories of Jessie as a hard working, generous person. The congre-gation sang "Amazing Grace" and read the "23rd Psalm." A reception followed at the family home in Hancock. Burial will be at a later date.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the Valley Rescue, P.O. Box 131, Rochester, Vt. 05767.
