Nancy Tuckerman

BARNARD—Nancy Fay Tuckerman, 69, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006 at her home in Barnard.

She was born on March 29, 1937 in Barnard, the daughter of Alfred and Margaret (Todd) Summarsell.

She graduated from Woodstock High School in 1955. She raised four children and did private housecleaning. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Roy Tuckerman of Barnard; four children: Steve Tuckerman of Gainsesville, Fla.; Robert Tuckerman of Barnard, Denise Bean of Chelsea, and Brad Tuckerman of Barnard; three brothers: Lyndal Summarsell of Del Rio, Texas; Percy Summarsell of Windsor, and Wayne Sum-marsell of Woodstock; a sister, Erma Kucewicz of Yonkers, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Richard Summarsell.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, Nov. 30 at 12 noon at the Silver Lake Cemetery in Barnard. There will be no calling hours.

Friends may make donations to the Visiting Nurses Association & Hospice of Vermont and New Hampshire, 331 Olcott Drive, Unit 1, White River Jct., VT 05001.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock.
