11th Winter Fantasy Parade
This Saturday in Randolph

The 11th Annual Winter Fantasy Parade will be held this Saturday, Dec. 3 at 12:30 p.m. in downtown Randolph. This parade was started to help the downtown merchants usher in the holiday season. The parade is organized by members of the Mid-State Riding Club, with help from the Chamber of Commerce and the Randolph National Bank.

The parade will start at the end of Salisbury Street, and wiggle around Franklin and Summer Streets and out Kelly Way to Main Street and will make two passes up Main Street and back down Salisbury Street.

After the parade, the participants will enjoy a potluck lunch (organized by the Riding club) at the Randolph Elementary School and prizes will be awarded.

There will be no motorized vehicles in the parade, but there will be horses (Morgans, Quarter horses, minis and Saddle horses) wagons, buggies, a Christmas Queen, walkers, several side saddle entries and Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Many entries are from out of town and even out of state. Returning on his roller blades (if weather permits) with his shovel, will be Bill Luth of Hartland. If the parade is postponed due to bad weather, it will be held Sunday, Dec. 3 at the same time and same place.
